Burning Bridge Antiques Market in Columbia has been sold.

Burning Bridge Antique Market located at 304 Walnut Street in downtown Columbia has been sold to Murphy Acquisition Group LLC.

Columbia, PA, September 22, 2021. Don Murphy, President of Murphy Acquisition Group stated “The purchase of Burning Bridge fits in nicely with the overall vision of economic development and revitalization that we are fulfilling in downtown Columbia.” Murphy, who with his wife Becky, also owns Cimarron Investments, said “The antique business will be integrated into their Murphy Retail company which also owns the Murphy’s Mercantile store located inside Hinkle’s Restaurant and the Columbia Market House.” Murphy’s Mercantile is managed by Daisy Pagan owner of Perfect Settings. This new acquisition further supports our plans to create a destination in Columbia where people from all over the world can visit, shop, eat and eventually stay at our planned Chip Factory Hotel.

We are thrilled to be able to continue the success of one of the top rated antique markets in south central Pennsylvania, located in the former circa 1880’s historic CA Herr Hardware Building. Murphy recalls frequenting the hardware store for many years until it was closed in 2003 by the Linkous Family. “We are proud to own this prominent historic building with amazing architectural character inside and out” says Becky Murphy.

Current manager, Cindi Coleman will continue to manage the daily operations of the business. Murphy stated that having Cindi on our team is a huge asset to the business. She has forged a great relationship with the 200+ dealers who fill the 24,000 square foot market with quality antiques and the many guests who frequent the establishment.
